November 4, 2016 - January 1, 2017*
5:30pm & 7:30pm Departures

Join the French Lick Scenic Railway for one of the most memorable and fun family events of the year. Take a ride on The Polar Express!

The experience begins at our station decorated with garlands, lights and Christmas trees, making the perfect picture opportunity. As you get ready to board the train, the conductor happily greets all of our guests.

Once the train is underway, the conductor will punch your ticket as the book, The Polar Express, is read aloud and enhanced with song and dance by our crew, with a special Cookie & Hot Chocolate presentation, just like in the movie!

When the train pulls into the North Pole, we pick up Santa Claus himself and he presents each child with their own "first gift of the season", a shiny silver sleigh bell.  You will also be entertained by Santa's elves with interactive songs and dance that everyone can participate in.

To make the experience more magical, the children are encouraged to wear their pajamas. Parents are also welcome to join in the fun with their own pajamas!

First Class -    $55 ages 2 & up

*There are NO trains on December 23, 24, 25, 2016.

A first for wineries is set to open in Southern Indiana for the Spring of 2016. Patoka Lake Winery (PLW) broke ground on Monday June 8th as the first winery in Indiana to offer lodging inside the winery for its customers. Wine Lovers will be able to enjoy the tasting room, tour the production facility, and then retreat to one of the three suites located in the winery, or for a truly unique experience retire to a silo suite.
